Why Mineral Supplements?

Herbal wellness is the direct connection between plants and humans. Because we are all mineralized beings we are able to get a great abundance of mineralized wellness from plants. Consisting of major minerals and minor minerals( referred to as trace minerals), the body is readily available to different plants to help us maintain the minerals we need most. There are 7 major minerals that are used and stored in large quantities in the body. These minerals are calcium, chloride, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and sulfur. The trace minerals (minor minerals) are just as critical to our health as the major minerals, but we only need small amounts. Minerals in this category include chromium, copper, fluoride, iodine, iron, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, and zinc. Plants naturally occur in nature and they provide a gateway between these minerals in their unadulterated state and our bodies. With safety, knowledge and understanding of herbs(plants), their properties, and the therapeutic actions they provide to the body we are able to retain our youth and vitality via the phytochemicals they provide. The right plants keep you healthy and feeling young. Ultimately allowing one to sustain optimal health as they age. Receiving minerals directly from plants serves much more of a benefit to the human body than obtaining them through animal flesh/products. The reason we view plants as being more beneficial is because plant based minerals will not erode the body over time which eventually causes free radicals in the body that are known to cause damage to the body as a long term effect.
